The Challenge
SSP Worldwide's core legacy software platform needed a complete overhaul, including a Proof of Concept (PoC), to modernise and align with current business needs. The existing system lacked UX/UI design consistency, which impacted its usability for employees, clients, and potential new leads.
Previous Approach
The development team struggled to resolve the issues due to the lack of a dedicated UX/UI specialist. Without expert guidance, they were unable to implement consistent design practices or develop a technology replacement that would meet business expectations.
Impact of the Challenge
The Solution
I led the project as a Solution Architect and Head of UX, taking a hands-on approach to guide the team through the process. My solution included:
- Audit of the Existing Core Platform: I conducted a thorough audit to identify the technology and UX design principles needed to replace the legacy software system.
- UX/UI Design Consistency: I ensured the new platform adhered to modern UX design principles, providing a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Technology Assessment: I helped the team select the best technology stack to replace the outdated system.
