The Challenge
Shell faced a significant challenge with an ongoing project that required a customer-grade user interface for its Advanced Analytics Platform. They needed an SME to collaborate with the team, design, code, and integrate the UI into the platform.
Previous Approach
Before engaging a specialist, Shell was unable to solve the problem as they lacked the required expertise in both UX and UI design, as well as the implementation of these designs into the platform.
Impact of the Challenge
- The project experienced delays in delivering the customer-grade application GUI that was essential for the platform, ultimately impacting project timelines and stakeholder satisfaction.
The Solution
As an SME UI Designer, I worked closely with the team to:
- Design a customer-grade GUI that meets the project's high standards.
- Code the design using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Integrate the new designs into the Shell Advanced Analytics Platform.
- This process ensured the look and feel aligned with Shell's brand guidelines while meeting the project's requirements.
